A dragon fruit! Yes, it is an actual fruit.

I actually really like how this turned out...except I think the quality was slightly lowered since I took it with a camera.
However, using photoshop, I deleted the background, making it white. Although I edited the background, the actual fruit itself is still the original! That's why if you look in some areas, there's a tint of grey.

I used paint for this picture. It took me about 6 hours, although I had breaks in between.

Wow Megan! o __o This quite impressive! I never realized how good of a painter you are! I really never liked still-life (would you classify it as that? > W>;) but you did a good job!

I really love the texture and color! Looks very nice! -Thumbs up-

I never knew there was such a fruit. o __o -Searches on the internet-

And yes! There is such fruit. I've tried it before...the inside looks like a kiwi except instead of green, it's kinda a grey colour. It's sweet, but the pink part is kinda tasteless? It's kinda chewy in a way lol. It doesn't have the sourness to it as kiwis do though ehehe.

oh! i like it! i like the colors so much! they're so fresh and....fruity : P what paint did you use? whichever it was, you did very well with the medium ^.^
